Today is national pizza day! This year, we’ll be celebrating by sharing a delicious recipe that’s also incredibly healthy. That’s right, pizza is no longer a cheat day only food! With this hemp cauliflower pizza recipe, you can enjoy the satisfying taste of pizza whenever you want, without having to worry about the calories.
Here’s what you’ll need:
INGREDIENTS
For the pizza:

Cauliflower (1 cup after being finely diced in a food processor)
1 large egg -
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

⅓ of a cup of hemp seeds
-
2 tsp of oregano
-
½ tsp of salt
Optional Toppings:
-
Heirloom tomatoes
-
fresh basil
-
Hemp seeds
-
CBD-infused Olive Oil
-
sautéed eggplant
-
fresh mozzarella
MAKING THE PIZZA

Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Step 2: Place cauliflower florets into a food processor, and blend until they are a very fine texture.

Step 3: Place processed cauliflower into a cheesecloth or in between two paper towels and squeeze out any excess moisture. If using paper towels, you may need more than two.

Step 4: Mix 1 cup of processed cauliflower into a bowl with the egg, hemp seeds, oregano, salt, and shredded mozzarella until all the ingredients are fully incorporated

Step 5. Using your hands, press the mixture onto a baking sheet and shape it into the form of a pizza.

Step 6. Bake for 10 minutes.

Step 7. Remove pizza from the oven and add desired toppings. If using CBD-infused olive oil, make sure to monitor your dose. If using fresh mozzarella, slice into 1/8th inch slices and place evenly around the pizza.

Step 8. Bake until toppings are hot and melty, and crust is a crispy brown, but not burnt. Around 5-10 additional minutes.
