Q: What is CBD?

A: Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in Cannabis Sativa L. It is one of more than a hundred phytocannabinoids found within the plant. CBD can be derived from hemp or marijuana but the CBD found within products manufactured by E1011 Labs are 100% derived from federally legal hemp.

Q: Will CBD make me high?

A: No. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, and thus will not generate the same effect of “feeling high.”

Q: How much CBD should I take?

A: This depends on the individual and their endocannabinoid system. An individuals’ endocannabinoid system that has been previously exposed to CBD might require higher doses to trigger noticeable effects. Whereas, an individual with an endocannabinoid system unexposed to CBD might require lower doses to achieve similar effects.

Q: What is the endocannabinoid system?

A: The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a network of receptors located throughout the body. The main function of the ECS is to maintain bodily homeostasis by regulating mood, appetite, stress, sleep and metabolism.

Q: Is CBD safe to ingest with other supplements or medicine I take?

A: Please consult your doctor or health care provider with any questions about the safety of CBD products in relation to your health. If you use prescription medications, take supplements, have underlying health condition that cause concern, check with a health care provider to ensure CBD is right for you.

Q: Will I pass a drug test?

Most drug tests screen for metabolites that your body produces when consuming Delta 9 THC and does not detect the presence of CBD or other legal and natural hemp constituents.

Our products are low in Delta 9 THC (<0.3%) but are NOT entirely THC free. Instances have been known to occur where consumption of hemp with low THC causes one to fail a drug test, if enough is consumed. Since several variables are involved, including but not limited to, amount consumed, metabolism of the consumer, time table, and THC concentration in the product, it is difficult to ensure negative drug test results.

Q: How are hemp and marijuana different?

A: Although they are both flowering plants in the Cannabaceae family, hemp and marijuana are genetically different and differ in growing method, chemical makeup, and function. The main difference between the two plants is their level of Delta 9 THC.

Hemp has less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC while marijuana has more than 0.3% Delta 9 THC.

Q: What is Bioavailability and Bio-delivery?

A: Bioavailability is the proportion of the administered substance capable of being absorbed, used or stored by the body. A higher bioavailability means you can use less CBD to achieve the same results.

Biodelivery is the rate at which the body begins to absorb, use or store the administered substance. A faster biodelivery means you will feel the effects sooner.

Elon Basics

Q: What is Elon?

A: Elon is a rechargeable state-of-the-art device that redefines cannabinoid delivery with innovative technology. The device contains a battery, patent-pending blade, temperature regulator, and a set of sensors that detect battery level and usage.

Elon is rechargeable with the type-c charging cable provided. Stems are plugged into the Elon acting as a mouthpiece and capsule for hemp flower.

Q: What makes Elon unique?

A: Elon uses concentric heating mechanism that provides users with the fastest BioDelivery and highest bioavailability of cannabinoids (namely CBD) while eliminating harms of combustible alternatives.

Q: Do I have to clean my Elon?

A: When using the product as intended, minimal cleaning is required. Elon will self-clean during the charging process by gently heating the cartridge department. There may be some debris from previous usage but that will not change the efficacy of Elon.

For best effects, we recommend cleaning the interior of the cartridge compartment every 20 sessions if debris is visible. Ensure that the device is turned off (indicator lights are off) before attempting to clean the device. Use a regular cotton swab to gently brush the interior of the cartridge department and heating element. Do NOT use any chemicals, liquids or abrasives to clean the device. Do NOT put your finger(s) into the heating chamber in any circumstance.

Q:Can I pause a session?

A: The device is button free with an air sensor that can be blown into to pause and continue sessions.

Q: What is the best way to store my Elon and Stem?

A: Do not store your Elon with a Stem inserted. If you are planning on storing your Elon for an extended period of time, ensure that your Elon is clean because remanent organic matter may rot within the chamber. Stems contain hemp flower and need to be stored in a cool and dark place for a longer shelf life.

Q: Can I take Elon on the plane?

A: It is safe to take the Elon and Stem on planes, but please check the laws and regulations regarding hemp-derived CBD in your destination. Most airlines restrict the usage of vaporizers on planes and in airports and E1011 Labs urges its users to follow all establishment guidelines.

Q: How long does a charge last?

A: Depending on your usage behavior, a full charge typically has the nominal use capacity of 13 Stems.

Q: Why use Elon instead of other CBD intake methods?

A: Elon offers higher bioavailability and faster biodelivery of CBD compared to most oral consumption or topical application.  

 

Stem Basics

Q: What is in a Stem?  

A: Stems are packed with 100% sun-grown hemp flowers that contain a high percentage of CBD.

The hemp flower in Stem is pulverized to increase the surface area for cannabinoid activation and create optimal airflow.

Additionally, our process involves a specific technique utilizing low temperature curing methodologies to maximize cannabinoids and preserve essential terpenes while enabling dehydration for reduced risk of mold and bacteria growth.

This ensures that the hemp undergoes the most natural processes to stay true to its native form while replicating the experience of combustion.

Q: Are your CBD hemp flowers synthetic?

A:  No. The CBD hemp flowers within Stem are grown in the United States by licensed hemp growers.

Q: Do Stems contain THC?

A: Stems contain CBD hemp flowers that have been tested to contain less than 0.3% total THC (the federal limit for hemp classification of Cannabis Sativa L.). Stems will never contain flowers with more than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis.

Q: What are your test requirements for the CBD hemp flowers in Stem?

A: Our Stems are tested by Independent third-party licensed labs. We test for potency, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, and mycotoxins. Our rigorous testing standards ensure the quality of our blends.

Q: What is the percentage of CBD in Stem?

A: The percentage of CBD in Stem varies by product batches. To find the percentage of CBD in your Stem please scan the QR code on your Stem packaging or manually enter the batch number on our Lab Results page. Test results will be kept on the E1011 website for three years.

Q: Will Stem intoxicate me?

The effects of Stems vary on an individual basis. Please consult your physicians before use.

Q: If Stems are past their Best By date, should I not use them?

A: Not exactly. If your Stem is past our recommended consumption date, but still maintains good sensory and quality characteristics, you may choose to continue usage. However, if there are any signs of degradation it is best to dispose of the Stem. E1011 Labs does not guarantee the quality or user experience when using products past their Best By date.

Q: Can I take Stems on the plane?

A: Yes. The TSA guidelines states that “products/medications that contain hemp-derived CBD or are approved by the FDA are legal” and allowed to be carried in both checked and carry-on bags.
